Join PSU Extension forestry and wildlife experts for a walk in the woods this spring. Learn the basics of how the woods work: different species and their strategies for growth, how forests develop and change over time, how disturbances affect the forest community.

About The Event
Each event around the state will vary slightly; some will focus more on tree identification, while others may illustrate specific features of local forests, for example. Bring your questions, as well as sturdy footwear, and supplies for a short hike. This program will be outdoors and involves walking on gravel roads or uneven trail surfaces.
